To start this process, me and my partner went off and selected 5 songs each that we could use for our music video project and after listening and discussing, we narrowed it down to 3 songs: Lose it - Jerry Folk, Firefly - Mura Masa and Go 2 - Netsky which fell into our chosen genre. I then composed an email to send to their producers/managers to ask for permission and any terms required. We waited eagerly for a response and although we only heard back from one artist, we were happy.
